Dendrobium
Inter Den Phal Orchid Seedlings
Inter Den Phals are
approximately one part ceratobium to three parts Phalaenopsis. The result of this
combination is greater productivity, multiple blooming season, with strong rooting
and sturdy canes compared to the full Den-Phal group. The individual flower size
tends to be about seventy-five percent of the Den-Phal group, but is compensated
by longer sprays.

These orchid seedlings
are grown in 98-cell trays with a minimum of 90 plants per tray. One variety
per tray only. Average plant height ranges from 3 to 5 inches (or 7.5 to 12.5
centimeters). For our own production we transplant these to 3.5" square
pots, but some people may prefer to transplant them into 2.25" pots.
The average growing to blooming time based on Hawaii conditions is 7 to 10 months.
Codes starting with "M" are mericlones. All others are hybrids (i.e.,
produced by seed).
