Unfortunately,
FedEx does not accept plants for shipments to Guam and Saipan.
Our current customers are using the U.S. Postal Service, Priority
Mail service. Please note that the U.S. Postal Service does
not guarantee on-time delivery and will not allow plants to
be insured because they are considered perishable items. There
is always the possibility that the U.S. Postal service could
misplace or lose the shipment, although in our experience
this has not happened. However, there have been rare incidences
where shipments were delayed. Should the U.S. Postal Service
lose the shipment they will not assume liability and will
not pay for the value of the contents of the shipment or even
reimburse for the postal charges. Hawaiian Floral Nursery
assumes no responsibility or liability for shipments that
have been damaged or lost due to the negligence of the U.S.
Postal Service, or due to the U.S. Postal Service's delay
in service.
On
the plus side, the U.S. Postal Service freight charges to
Guam and Saipan are significantly less than shipping from
Hawaii to the mainland U.S., approximately $14 per case of
three 98-cell trays.
