What
does that mean? It means the orchids in our nursery are grown under
regulated conditions put forth by the Department of Agriculture.
This includes, but is not limited to standardized benches that meet
minimum height requirements for sanitary purposes, as well as orchids
being regularly inspected by Department of Agriculture inspectors.
Plants are inspected for injurious plant pests and diseases, and
root samples are also taken and analyzed to ensure there are no
burrowing nematodes.
We are
certified to ship to all states, and each box is stamped with our
certificate. Each stamp has the following imprint:

Why is
the State of California mentioned in the stamp?
Presently,
the State of California has the most stringent requirements for
plants, so our stamp satisfies requirements for all other States.
