Orchids for Interiorscaping

Plants in interior areas refresh and clean the air. They provide the warmth that living organisms can bring to otherwise sterile effects of modernization. Orchids have gained wide acceptance in creating ambiance, not only for their exotic beauty but also for their lasting floralscapes.

Dendrobiums offer height and long lasting flowers that many interior designers use to create a spacious and delicately scented atmosphere.

One comment we receive from some interiorscapers is how long lasting our dendrobiums are. Growing the orchids in a coconut chip mix with the bulk of the nutrients received through uptake from the root zone, seems to add longevity. Similar to foliage plants, orchids that are bottom fed seem to develop stronger tissue, denser leaf and stems that resist the effects of interior environments.
