This particular cross has produced plants that grow superlatively. I could say it's probably the easiest member of the cattleya alliance that we have ever grown. Simplicity and purity of line and shape has resulted in a wider range of colors than expected, producing a range of colors from white to magenta pink with magenta speckling and occasionally some with no speckling. The droopiness of Bc. Makai is amazingly unapparent adding to the clarity of the star shapes. The wonderful aspect of bountiful blossoms are expected as the plants obtain mass. The extra neat semi-terete and perfect foliage gives added attractiveness to this plant.
