What's New?

Den. Haleahi Fascination
(= Den. Kamiya's Surprise x atroviolaceum)

The cool moist air of Hawaiian winters reach Dendrobium Kamiya's Surprise x atroviolaceum. Blossoming commences and continues for months to come. The blooming season extends for several months and beyond until the heat of June bears down.

The large clusters of glove leathery ivory petals are speckled in deep red maroon and the lip is heavily veined in deeper shades of the same. Mainly of the Latouria section of dendrobium, this hybrid seems of royal blood. Although a minimal amount of seedling grew out of this seed pod, they have all proven to be remarkable in the least. Very slow to grow, but over time they have grown with wonderful dilligence to present themselves heavily clustered with ornate blossoms with lasting beauty year after year.

The second group of orchid progeny we have placed into our private reserve, many are also wonderful breeders and have produced full seed pods potent with potential.
