What's New?

C. Haleahi Surf
(= C. Moon Festival x Earl)

The combination of C. Moon Festival x Earl has so far produced beautiful, ruffled petal blossoms. They are all white except for the yellow in the center of the lip. The blossoms are full size and have a sweet, wonderful fragrance.

The C. Moon Festival parent blooms at each new growth so blooming for this new hybrid with C. Earl 'Imperialis' FCC/AOS continues throughout the year.

The plants grow vigorously, and even though they are relatively compact and are blooming in the 4" pot, a 5" or 6" pot would be more suitable as they mature.

The amazing aspect of this cross is the effect the C. Earl 'Imperialis' FCC/AOS has on the size and shape of the blossoms. The blossoms are closer to the size of C. Earl and have retained much of the same shape. The frequency of blooming, heavy substance and fragrance is hinting that the C. Moon Festival is contributing its share to make this a important new addition.
